Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend required with blackout dates for Christmas and New Year's
• Rarely asked to take on-call shifts
• No float requirements
• Hospital provided teal scrubs
• Perform C-section cases both planned and emergent with an average of 3-4 cases per day
• Assist with transport from room to OR
• Perform CNA duties between cases including vital signs, ambulating, stocking, and baby baths
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and circumcision procedures including set up and take down
• Utilize Jada system for hemorrhage management
• Work within 1 OR for L&D
• Required certifications: BLS and CST license (NBSTSA or NCCT accepted), AHA or ARC certifications required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in OB setting required; first-time travelers must have a minimum of 2 years of experience
• High school diploma required
• Required skills: OB, C-section, and CNA support
• Must be a hard worker, resilient, manage change well, and be socially engaging
