Registered Nurse - ER @ Midland Memorial Hospital

Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years experience required in ER of equivalent size (40+ bed ER, 200+ visits/day)
• Care for adults and children across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Level II or III trauma experience required
• Recent ER travel experience preferred (within past 6-8 months)
• Work in 42-bed emergency department with daily census of 200 patients
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (must be willing to obtain if offered)
• Additional certifications: NIHSS, NRP
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Expected to work some holidays
• RTO (Return to Orientation) required with submission
• Must have active license before start date (pending license accepted with submission)
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles (local candidates not accepted)
• On-site drug screening required with comprehensive panel testing
• Hard document deadline: 3 business days prior to start
• Interdisciplinary support available including respiratory services, social services, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Extensive skill requirements including trauma care, emergency medications, procedural sedation, triage, and critical care interventions
