Certified Surgical Technologist Job in Watertown, NY

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown, NY. You will work 5 days per week on day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with weekend, call, and holiday coverage required.

About the Role

You will function under the direct supervision of an RN, assisting in the nursing care and preparation of surgical patients. Your responsibilities include:

• Perform technical duties as scrub personnel with precise and efficient reaction to all situations
• Create and maintain a sterile surgical room environment
• Ensure surgical equipment is functioning properly and safely
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures
• May be asked to precept new staff

Requirements

• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Orthopedic experience required
• Scrubbing experience required
• DaVinci experience required
• Travel experience required
• Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience with successful achievement in medications exam required
• Knowledge of cleaning, sterilization, and disinfection of equipment and instrumentation in operating room setting required
• Must arrive within 30 minutes of being called in
• Must comply with 100-mile radius rule

Compensation

Weekly pay: $2,036.70
