Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast

Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratios
• On-call required 1 day every week and one weekend every month
• Must have 2+ years of OR experience
• Travel experience required
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS
• Must provide radiation badge through agency
• May be required to float between Downtown/Northeast/Kershaw campuses based on census and staffing needs
• Work with various surgical procedures including general OR, orthopedic, spine, robotic surgeries, and trauma cases
• Scrubs provided by facility
• Epic charting system
• Daily census of 8-12 patients in 8 operating rooms
• Work with patients of all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for potential emergency response assignments
