Opportunity:

Sonographer - Echo Sonographer

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Day shift position with typical hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No holiday requirements
• No call or standby requirements
• Perform fetal and pediatric echocardiography studies
• Average of 8 scans/studies per day
• Float and cover other inpatient echo areas within the Children's Hospital as needed
• Utilize EPIC and iSCV charting systems
• Work with Philips EPIQ7 ultrasound equipment
• IV starts are not required
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Scrubs not required to be purchased - may wear existing scrub uniforms; light grey scrubs or children-appropriate scrub tops accepted
• Cancellation policy: 2 shifts per 13-week contract
• BSN not required
• Preference for candidates with fetal echo experience
• Required certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE)
