About this role
Join Northside Hospital Cherokee as a Polysomnograph Technician on our sleep disorders team. This is a 110-day travel assignment beginning September 28, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a specialized sleep medicine environment while earning $1,932 weekly.
Position Overview
You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week, Monday through Wednesday, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Your responsibilities include preparing adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and equipment for sleep disorders testing, monitoring polysomnograms, and documenting findings according to facility policy. You will apply your expertise in sleep disorders, sleep activity, abnormalities, movement arousals, and respirations to support accurate patient diagnosis and care.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in sleep technology
- Current, unrestricted certification or registration as a Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (BRPT) or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Willingness to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
About the Assignment
This position is filled through ADEX Healthcare Staffing for qualified travel professionals only. Candidates must be located outside a 50-mile radius of Canton, GA. You will work within a hospital setting dedicated to sleep medicine, supporting a team committed to diagnosing and treating sleep disorders across all patient demographics.
