Cytotechnologist Job in Cedar Rapids, IA

UnityPoint - St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, IA is hiring a Cytotechnologist for a 91-day travel assignment. This is a day shift position with no on-call responsibilities and no weekend requirements.

Position Overview

You will perform cytologic screening and preparation, reviewing 50–60 slides per day, up to 300 slides per week. Your work supports accurate diagnosis and patient care in our laboratory setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 months of experience in Cytotechnology
• Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program
• ASCP (CT) or equivalent Cytotechnology certificate
• BD Focal Point equipment experience required
• BD Surepath equipment experience required
• Valid driver's license
• Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Experience with Sunquest

Holiday Requirements
