Ultrasound Technologist Job in Charleston, SC

MUSC Health Charleston is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work the night shift in our Radiology and Cardiology departments, supporting diverse clinical imaging needs across our system.

Schedule & Compensation

• 4 x 10-hour night shifts per week (4:30 PM to 3:00 AM), Monday through Thursday with holiday rotation
• No on-call responsibilities
• Weekly pay: $2,073.60
• Assignment duration: 91 days, starting July 6, 2026

Role Details

• Float between Main Hospital and ART locations within your scope of practice
• Daily caseload varies based on facility needs
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience required
• Proficiency in abdominal doppler imaging required
• First-time travelers accepted only if coming from large teaching facilities
• Guaranteed hours; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Credentials & Requirements

• Graduate of accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Current BLS certification
• Current ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification
• South Carolina state ultrasound licensure not required
• No radiation badge required

• Epic charting system
• Required dress code: teal tops and black bottoms
• Parking pass available; one-time payment of $20 for nights and weekends
• Be prepared for potential emergency response team assignment during hurricane season (June–November)
