<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on 3North Tower<br>• Patient ratio of 1:6<br>• Minimum 1 year Med Surg experience required<br>• EPIC charting system experience required<br>• BLS certification and Kentucky license required<br>• Will accept first time travelers<br>• Previous charge experience preferred<br>• Self-scheduling type<br>• Occasional floating to different units required<br>• 36 hours of orientation provided<br>• Two pre-approved time off periods allowed<br>• Care for adult and geriatric patients<br>• Daily census of 28 patients with 28 beds available<br>• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler<br>• Two references required<br>• Skills required include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tube management, wound care, telemetry monitoring, and various other Med Surg competencies<br>• Complete non-billable modules during orientation and annually<br>• Lab scheduling required within 2 days of signing with completion within 2 weeks</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical unit with 28 beds serving adult and geriatric patient populations.
