CT Technologist Job in Albany, NY

You'll work as a CT Technologist at Albany Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center. This is an entry-level position where you'll create diagnostic images using computed tomography equipment while delivering safe, positive patient experiences across diverse populations.

Your Schedule

• Monday through Thursday, 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM (4x10 evenings)
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams on trauma, emergency room, outpatient, inpatient, and intensive care patients
• Conduct specialized CT scan-guided procedures as needed
• Assist in clinical evaluation and patient care in a fast-paced environment
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and continue learning as technology evolves

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• High school diploma or equivalent
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York State
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification

Your MIT level will be assigned based on your skill set and experience. This 91-day assignment begins April 13, 2026, with weekly pay of $3,212.
