Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 13-20 week assignment with 36 or 48 hour options
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Every other weekend requirement
• Float requirement to main campus facility (32 minutes away)
• No call requirement
• 24 hour orientation required
• Must start 6/29
• Self-scheduling system
• Navy blue or white scrubs required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• 2 years minimum experience required
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including diabetes, dementia, pneumonia, COPD, sepsis, CHF, UTI, renal failure, and various surgical recovery cases
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV management, blood product administration, wound care, respiratory management, and use of rapid response teams
• Expected to work as part of Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract
• Up to 48 hours required for lab testing completion after signing
