Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour shifts per week with varied graveyard shifts and weekend requirements
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Call is required with details to be discussed during interview
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• Schedule varies based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and call shifts
• May be required to float to the needs of the organization up to competency level
• Produce diagnostic MRI scans and assist radiologists and referring physicians with MRI procedures
• Ensure patient care for patients ranging in age from infant through geriatric
• Must be proficient in the use of various MRI scanning equipment including GE or Philips scanners
• Make technical decisions to provide the best possible MRI image quality
• Perform after-hours standby and callback duties as needed
• Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
• Required licensure: ARRT (Certification in MRI preferred - R.T., R.M.R.I.T.)
