<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM<br>• Full-time position with every other weekend requirement<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1, occasionally 6:1<br>• Required to float when needed<br>• Epic experience required<br>• Care for patients with MI, CHF, arrhythmias, PVD, and med-surg overflow<br>• Manage cardiac drips (no nitroglycerin administration)<br>• Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process<br>• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects<br>• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided<br>• Assess learning needs and provide patient/family education<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA<br>• RN license in state of employment or compact required<br>• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred<br>• One year of related nursing specialty experience preferred<br>• Must complete New Nurses Orientation within first 30 days<br>• Must complete annual competency verification requirements<br>• Temporary to permanent opportunity available</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive health system that provides advanced cardiac and telemetry services.
