Opportunity:

RN - Cardiovascular Surgery

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM
• Stay late on-call requirements 1-2 times per week
• 4-bed unit with 1:1 patient ratios
• Unit staffing includes RNs, CNC support, secretary, and manager shared with CVOR
• Critical care experience required; PreOp experience is a plus
• Must have strong critical thinking skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-acuity patient area
• Excellent documentation skills required with BCMA experience
• Strong communication skills with interdepartmental team required
• Perform large-bore IV starts, chin to toe hair removal, medication administration, and skin assessments
• Assist with arterial line, central line, and epidural placement
• Transport patients to OR and assist with induction/intubation, positioning, and skin prep
• Document using Cerner electronic health record system
• Utilize GE Carescape Monitoring and Fuji ultrasound equipment
• Floating policy within scope of practice and experience
• Uniforms provided
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
