PCU RN Job in Great Falls, MT

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a 91-day travel assignment at Great Falls Clinic Medical Center in Great Falls, MT. You will work days and earn $2,336 weekly. Start date: February 24, 2026.

Your Role:

You will provide direct nursing care to hemodynamically stable or predictably unstable patients on a medical/surgical unit. Your patients will include diverse populations such as those in pre- and post-PCI care, pacemaker management, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, sepsis, and post-surgical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate advanced medical equipment including arterial lines, invasive monitoring lines, chest tubes, and ventilatory support devices
• Manage patients with central lines, chest tubes, nasogastric tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, arterial lines, multiple IVs, and short-term ventilation support
• Provide physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery
• Serve as a clinical leader and assist with precepting nursing staff
• Manage patient care from admission through discharge, including discharge planning
• Supervise RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping, and dietary staff as needed
• Support the medical-surgical unit during staffing adjustments
• Manage IV medications including Heparin, Diltiazem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone, and Dopamine

Requirements:

• Current Montana RN licensure
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS required or obtainable within 6 months of hire
• Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
• EPNC and TNCC certifications preferred
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Post-heart catheterization experience preferred
