<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM<br>• Weekend requirement every other weekend<br>• 2 years of experience required<br>• Must have Trauma Level 1 experience<br>• Active RRT South Carolina license required<br>• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS<br>• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required<br>• Must be proficient in adult critical care work settings including extubation, nasal airway placements, suctioning, oral airway placement, tracheostomy care<br>• Experience required with administering various medications including albuterol, Atrovent, combivent, flovent, inhaled steroids, and others<br>• Must have experience with BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and mechanical ventilation weaning<br>• Required experience with Servo U ventilator equipment<br>• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics<br>• Floating to other units or campuses required as needed based on census concerns<br>• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing<br>• 36 hours of orientation provided<br>• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This 800-bed healthcare facility provides comprehensive trauma and critical care services as a Level 1 trauma center. The respiratory services department works with rapid response teams and transportation services to deliver all adult respiratory modalities including ventilator management, treatments, and patient transports.
