Med Surg RN Job in Pittsfield, MA

You will work as a Registered Nurse on the medical surgical units at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. This is a 91-day travel assignment with day shifts on a 3x12 schedule, starting July 6, 2026.

Assignment Details

• Medical surgical units with 20 to 34 beds depending on unit assignment
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Willingness to float to any medical surgical unit required
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• 8-hour non-billable orientation included
• Personal scrubs of any color permitted

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN license
• 2 years current medical surgical experience
• Telemetry experience required
• Basic Dysrhythmia course completion strongly required
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• Skills checklist for medical surgical position current within 1 year
• One supervisory signed reference from past two years
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred

Scheduling and Logistics

• You must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• You must have your own vehicle for assignment
• Block scheduling is not available
• All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application
• Maximum 5 days of requested time off will be accepted

Your weekly pay is $2,462.40. This assignment offers you the opportunity to expand your med-surg experience while working with a stable patient population on established units.
