ED RN Job in West Des Moines, IA

MercyOne West Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse for the Emergency Department. You will work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on a three-times-per-week schedule with every other weekend required.

In this role, you will:

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment
• Assess, triage, and treat patients presenting with various medical conditions and injuries
• Collaborate with physicians, technicians, and support staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient status continuously and respond to medical emergencies
• Document care activities and maintain accurate medical records per department standards
• Follow established emergency department protocols and procedures

This is a 90-day travel assignment beginning March 9, 2026. You will earn $2,316.60 per week. The role requires strong clinical assessment skills, the ability to work independently in high-acuity situations, and effective communication across the healthcare team. You must hold a current RN license valid in Iowa.
