PCU RN Job in Goldsboro, NC

You will provide direct clinical nursing care to progressive care patients at University of North Carolina Health Care System in Goldsboro, NC. Working a 3x12 day shift schedule, you'll earn $2,095.92 weekly on an 89-day travel assignment beginning May 11, 2026.

About the Role

As a PCU RN, you will assess and care for patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs. Your responsibilities include:

• Deliver competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards
• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the nursing process in a hospital setting
• Perform bedside point-of-care testing as required
• Assess patients with complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety considerations
• Organize and prioritize care according to patient and family needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on patient care evaluation
• Participate in patient and family education, assessing readiness to learn
• Implement organizational and nursing standards, policies, and procedures
• Participate in unit goals and performance improvement activities

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years PCU experience
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience
• Current RN license in North Carolina
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification (AHA or ARC)
• Nursing Diploma or ADN/ASN from accredited school of nursing
• Ability to read, write, and speak English

Preferred Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from accredited school of nursing
