Electrophysiology Technician Job in Roanoke, VA

You will work as an Electrophysiology Technician at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of May 11, 2026.

Schedule and Compensation

• 4x10 hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM with rotating late shifts
• No weekend or call requirements
• You may be asked to stay late if cases extend into the evening; late stays rotate among all staff
• One holiday per 13-week contract, worked in rotation with other staff
• Weekly pay: $2,940

Role Responsibilities

• Scrub and circulate all electrophysiology procedures, including ablations and device implants
• Perform EKG lead placement and dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation
• Assist with EP mapping capabilities
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Manage isolation precautions, equipment handling, and supply management
• Chart in the Epic system (Cupid documentation)
• Provide 1:1 patient care with adult patients only

Required Qualifications

• Current ACLS and BLS certification
• ARRT(R) with Virginia state license OR CCI RCES/RCIS certification
• Demonstrated EP Lab experience with EP mapping capabilities
• Experience with Micropace/LSPro systems and Epic/Cupid documentation
• Cardiac background essential

You will work in a fast-paced electrophysiology environment supporting complex cardiac procedures. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cardiologists and nursing staff.
