<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>SLP - SLP</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible scheduling options<br>• Occasional weekend shifts available (3-4 hours maximum, typically not both Saturday and Sunday)<br>• Occasional holiday coverage required (4-8 hours)<br>• Treat 1-10 patients per day with census varying<br>• Work primarily at main facility with potential to float to sister facilities<br>• Cover multiple units including ICU, PCU, Telemetry, Medical, Surgical, and Emergency Department<br>• Focus on general medical diagnoses, CVA, end of life care, post-operative cervical cases<br>• Primarily perform dysphagia and swallow evaluations with limited cognitive evaluations and treatment<br>• Acute inpatient experience required<br>• Video swallow experience preferred but not required<br>• Required certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, Washington state license<br>• Use EPIC charting system<br>• Dress code allows business casual or scrubs of any color<br>• Limited department-specific orientation provided<br>• Hospital may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services with specialized units including intensive care, progressive care, telemetry, medical, surgical, and emergency departments.
