Physical Therapist Job in Keene, NH

Join Cheshire Medical Center as an Outpatient Physical Therapist in Keene, NH. This is a temporary position running for 91 days, starting September 28, 2026. You'll work a 5×8 day shift schedule at $2,448 weekly.

Role Overview

You will deliver outpatient physical therapy services with no on-call requirements. Your typical day includes 2 to 3 evaluations (45 minutes each) plus remaining treatment sessions (30–45 minutes), treating one patient at a time. You'll evaluate and treat adults with a variety of conditions including cancer-related impairments, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs. You will provide individualized, evidence-based exercise programs and patient education, managing patients across the care continuum from rehabilitation through survivorship and palliative care.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and treatment sessions
• Utilize standard PT modalities including electrical stimulation and ultrasound (device-specific training provided)
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide patient education and exercise instruction

Schedule and Requirements

Weekend schedule to be determined. Holiday coverage is required; you must work two of the following holiday blocks if scheduled: Thanksgiving Day/Friday and weekend after; Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and weekend after; New Year's Eve through New Year's Day and weekend after. All requested time off must be noted and verified at upload—no more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted, and requests after upload will not be approved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of current physical therapy experience (no new graduates)
• Outpatient orthopedic experience required
• Active New Hampshire physical therapy license in hand at profile upload
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Skills checklist current within one year for physical therapy specialty
• EPIC and Expro experience required
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Own vehicle required for this assignment

Dress Code

Personal scrubs of any color or business casual attire. Athleisure and stretchy clothing are acceptable, but no leggings or crop shirts. Closed-toe, closed-back shoes required.
