PCU Registered Nurse Job in Cartersville, GA

Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work every other weekend with no call requirements
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratio during days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• 12 hours of orientation required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 28-bed unit with daily census of 28
• Work with Epic charting system
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must work major holidays if they fall during assignment period (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day)
• Georgia or Compact nursing license required at time of submission
• Full compliance required to start on time with all documents due Tuesday prior to start
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract with all time off finalized at submission
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, blood product administration, and managing cardiac/vasoactive drips
• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
