Physical Therapist Job in Monterey, CA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Physical Therapist for an inpatient role at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula in Monterey, CA. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 29, 2026.

Position Overview

You will work 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week, with 2 weekends per month required. Your role will split time between the Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit and Skilled Nursing Facility based on unit needs. You will deliver patient-centered physical therapy services to diverse populations, including patients recovering from neurological injuries and surgeries in acute care settings, as well as elderly patients requiring geriatric rehabilitation in the SNF environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physical therapy interventions for neurological rehabilitation and acute inpatient care
• Deliver geriatric rehabilitation services tailored to elderly patient populations
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient functional outcomes
• Maintain thorough clinical documentation in Epic
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members

Requirements

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
• Active California Physical Therapist license
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• Strong knowledge of neurological disorders and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
• Experience in neurological rehabilitation or acute inpatient care preferred
• Experience in geriatric rehabilitation and SNF care preferred

What We Offer

Weekly pay of $2,592. Hospital-provided scrubs are included. You will work with Epic charting system.
