RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every other weekend coverage required
• Unit will direct weekend coverage based on operational needs
• Patient ratio of 1:6 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required to Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units as needed (1:5/1:6 ratios on these units)
• No call responsibilities
• 24-hour orientation provided
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Must successfully pass Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• First-time travelers accepted
• Provide bedside monitoring for up to 8 patients
• Work with cardiac monitoring, ultrasound IV equipment, and lift equipment
• Care for adult patients with diagnoses including CHF, diabetes, COPD/asthma, sepsis, pneumothorax, ESRD/dialysis, hypertension/hypotension, ETOH withdrawal, and general surgery
• Manage chest tubes, PCA infusions, and non-titratable drips
• Caribbean blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
• Must have either compact license or Maryland license
