CNA Job in Rhinelander, WI

Aspirus Rhinelander is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a 13-week contract. You'll work 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) with a guaranteed 36 hours per week and every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Your responsibilities include:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), full vital signs, and point-of-care blood glucose monitoring
• Perform Foley care and drainage, bladder scans, and removal of peripheral IVs
• Empty ostomy pouches and provide 1:1 sitter care as needed
• Operate all lift equipment and assist with ambulation using drains, walkers, and gait belts
• Perform occupied bed changes, postmortem care, and support behavioral health and withdrawal patients
• Don and doff PPE correctly, attach telemetry leads, and maintain strict intake and output monitoring
• Assist with chest tube care and other critical care nursing tasks

You will float to all inpatient units, including Critical Care and Medical-Surgical settings at multiple locations: Aspirus Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Howard Young, and Eagle River. Floating may be prescheduled. You may be placed on call due to low census; the call-back minimum is 2 hours.

Requirements:

• Valid Wisconsin CNA certification and AHA BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of previous inpatient hospital experience
• High School Diploma required; Associate Degree or Certificate preferred
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred
• Must work within a 50-mile radius of the facility

You should be a hard worker who is resilient and manages change well. Ability to work independently, complete tasks in a timely manner, ask questions, and collaborate with team and ancillary staff is essential. Clean, work-appropriate scrubs in any color are required.

Compensation: $1,278 weekly. Contract begins October 26, 2026.
