Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 9-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays
• On-call requirements on a weekly rotational basis, typically 8-9 shifts per month
• 30-minute response time required when paged for call
• 3-5 day orientation period with 12 hours of non-billable orientation
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS, IEMA
• Previous cardiac catheterization lab experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
• McKesson cardiology PACS experience preferred but not required
• Work with EPIC electronic medical records, PACS, and McKesson systems
• Perform scrubbing, monitor hemodynamics, and circulating duties
• Handle 10-15 cases per day on average across 6 suites/labs
• Work in cardiac cath lab separate from interventional radiology and electrophysiology
• No floating requirements to other departments
• Hospital provides scrubs
• Mandatory call list utilized when staff cannot fulfill call shifts
• Primary charge nurse coverage from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM
