<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Rad Tech - Interventional Radiology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Position is for a Radiology Technologist, not an RN<br>• Work in Interventional Radiology department on the 1st floor of the main building<br>• Day shift includes 3-4 Techs, 3-4 RNs, and 1 Scheduler/Coordinator<br>• Night shift operates on call basis<br>• 1-2 nights of call per week, 1 weekend of call every 4-5 weekends<br>• Patient ratios depend on type of IR procedure being performed<br>• Work with Discovery 740 IGS equipment<br>• Use Meditech EMR system<br>• Must have critical care experience, procedural area experience, and moderate sedation experience<br>• PALS and Meditech experience preferred<br>• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS<br>• Perform biopsies/drain insertion, angiograms/peripheral vascular procedures, paracenteses/thoracentesis<br>• Assist with other imaging needs including CT Coronary, MRI monitoring, and myelograms<br>• Assist with line placement procedures<br>• May float to CT, MRI, or general Radiology departments<br>• Scrubs provided by facility<br>• Must be outgoing, self-starter, team oriented with positive personality</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive interventional radiology department with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and a dedicated team of specialists.
