ICU RN Job in Nashville, TN

You'll work as an RN in a 16-bed intensive care unit at Skyline Medical Center in Nashville. This is a travel position with a 91-day contract starting September 14, 2026.

Schedule and Pay

• 3 nights per week, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• $1,801 weekly
• 4-week scheduling increments with self-scheduling options; your manager will adjust shifts to balance the schedule
• Minimum of 4 weekend shifts per schedule required

Your Role

You will provide direct patient care in the ICU with patient ratios of 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing. You'll perform and assist with procedures including insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, and EVD insertions. You will work with equipment including ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000.

A unit secretary is staffed during day shift, and an occasional nurse extern works as a tech. As contract labor, you may be asked to float to other units if staffing needs arise, including med-surg assignments.

Documentation and Environment

The facility uses Meditech for documentation. You are required to wear navy scrubs, tops and bottoms.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• ICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS certification required

You will be expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and family members throughout your assignment.
