PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care

RN - PICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend requirement: up to 5 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights
• Holiday shifts required if contract falls during a holiday period
• No on-call requirement
• Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity (mixed ICU and Stepdown patients)
• Guaranteed hours: facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
• Previous charge experience preferred
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative surgical needs, and neurology/neurosurgery
• Float within facility within scope as needed to meet facility needs
• Block scheduling available pending manager approval based on unit needs
