Endoscopy RN Job in Tucson, AZ

BUMC Tucson is hiring an RN for the Endoscopy department. You'll work 4 x 10-hour shifts per week in a high-volume setting where the team performs 60+ cases daily.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities

Your Role

You will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care according to organizational policies. You'll provide direct patient care, coordinate care delivery, and supervise healthcare team activities. You'll interact with patients, families, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams, maintaining accurate documentation in patient records throughout each procedure.

Requirements

• Current valid RN license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy experience
• Previous travel assignment experience
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds regularly
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Professional certification in endoscopy nursing
