Infusion RN Job in Greensboro, NC

Cone Health – Cancer Center at Wesley Long Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our Infusion specialty. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 31, 2026, offering $2,764 weekly compensation.

Schedule & Shift Details

• 5 eight-hour shifts per week (40-hour work week)
• Day shifts with variable start times: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM, or 9:30 AM–6:00 PM based on staffing needs
• Block scheduling format
• Weekends required on an as-needed basis but unlikely

Role Responsibilities

• Manage 3 patients per day shift
• Care for adults and geriatric patients with solid tumor cancers, lymphomas, chronic leukemia, iron deficiency, myelodysplastic syndrome, and neuro-oncology diagnoses
• Perform and assist with bone marrow aspirations, intravesicular chemotherapy for bladder cancer, and intrathecal chemotherapy
• Operate specialized equipment including Cyracom interpreter machine, blood warmer, Hoyer lift, vein finder, and ultrasound-guided IV machine

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of infusion center and outpatient oncology experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• BLS certification required
• ONS/ONCC (Chemo) certification required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• Charge RN experience preferred
• ACLS and OCN certifications preferred

Assignment Details

You may be floated to any campus within the Cone Health system as needed. This role is open to experienced travel nurses only; first-time travelers are not considered.
