PACU RN Job in Beaumont, TX

You will provide post-anesthesia care to pediatric through geriatric patients in the PACU at CHRISTUS Southeast Texas St Elizabeth Hospital. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of March 30, 2026.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 shifts of 10 hours per week, days, with variable start times between 9:30 AM and 12:00 PM
• Weekly pay: $2,044
• Critical care experience required

Your Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care using the nursing process
• Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
• Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
• Assess learning needs and provide patient and family education
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers

Required Qualifications

• Current Texas RN License or compact license
• Current BLS (AHA only)
• Current ACLS (AHA only)
• Current PALS (AHA only) or ENPC

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Perioperative RN Residency or recent OR/Perioperative setting experience

Onboarding

• Attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire
• Receive preceptorship from a designated trained staff member during initial on-boarding
• Complete organizational entry competency validation
• Complete Perioperative Department-specific competency validation
• Complete all annual competency verification requirements
