Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends except for call shifts
• Possible call coverage: Monday-Friday 4:00 PM-10:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 8:00 AM-10:00 PM (1-2 days per week and every fourth weekend)
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: NMTCB and/or ARRT (NM), BLS
• Must be proficient in HIDA scans, bone scans, lymphoscintigraphy, gastric emptying, brain death studies, myocardial perfusion SPECT, I-123 scan/uptake, I-131 whole body scans, I-131 ablations (<30 mCi), renal scans with or without Lasix, and parathyroid scans
• Required experience with Epic, Pyxis, and PACS systems
• EKG experience preferred
• Must be comfortable starting and maintaining IVs
• Dress code requires black, gray, or purple scrubs
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• May float to Piedmont Columbus Regional Northside for STAT inpatient procedures
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (work 1 holiday if 1-2 fall during assignment, work 2 holidays if 3 fall during assignment)
• 13 hours of orientation required
• Full compliance required to start on time
