<p><strong>Allied Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>Respiratory Therapist - Certified Respiratory Therapist</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• 16-hour NBO (nights, bends, overs) schedule<br>• Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend, subject to change based on staffing and census<br>• No on-call responsibilities<br>• 24 months of respiratory care experience in hospital/medical center setting required<br>• Recent PICU/Pediatric intensive or NICU/neonatal intensive experience required<br>• Must work with patients of all ages<br>• Cross-training required on general Pediatric floor to assist when needed<br>• May be required to float across all campuses including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran<br>• Equipment experience required: HFOV/High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation, Jet, Servo U highly preferred<br>• Drips experience: power injection contrast injections<br>• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP or PALS, NBRC<br>• EPIC electronic medical records experience required<br>• Iowa license highly preferred, will accept licensing candidates with 1-3 week turnaround time<br>• CRTs accepted<br>• Dress code: Gunpowder Gray scrubs<br>• Overtime billable after 40 hours per week (36-40 hrs/week) or after 48 hours (48 hrs/week)<br>• Holiday pay: 1.15x multiplier<br>• Call back: 1.5x multiplier with 2-hour minimum</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This major healthcare system operates multiple campuses providing comprehensive medical services including advanced respiratory care across all age groups.
