About this role

Join Cobb Hospital's Emergency Department as a Registered Nurse on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work night shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Your Role

As an ED RN, you will function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized, safe, patient-centered care to patients and their families. You will perform the complete nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Your responsibilities include coordinating delivery and documentation of safe quality care, participating in interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reports, and promoting a respectful, inclusive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver relationship-based patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
  • Complete timely documentation and coordinate safe quality patient care
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and shift reports
  • Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance
  • Serve as preceptor and mentor for other nurses and staff as needed
  • Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education

Required Qualifications

You must hold an Associate's degree in nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred) and possess a current Georgia RN license or RN-COMPACT. BLS certification is required upon hire. PALS and ACLS certifications are required within 180 days; TNCC certification is required within 18 months.

You'll need strong interpersonal skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced emergency environment. Excellent time management and critical thinking skills are essential, along with basic computer skills and the ability to optimize technology for clinical care.

Assignment Details

This 91-day assignment begins June 5, 2026. You'll earn $1,864.80 per week.
