ED RN Job in Newton, IA

You'll provide direct nursing care in the Emergency Department at MercyOne Newton Medical Center, a fast-paced environment where you assess and treat patients presenting with acute and urgent medical conditions. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 28, 2026.

Your Role:

• Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients across the full spectrum of acuity levels
• Perform rapid patient assessments and implement appropriate interventions
• Collaborate closely with emergency physicians, technicians, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation following all emergency department protocols
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical interventions as needed
• Work with every other weekend schedule with no holiday rotation required

• Facility: MercyOne Newton Medical Center in Newton, IA
• Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Duration: 91 days

• Weekly Pay: $2,316.60

You'll integrate into an established ED team and apply your clinical judgment in a high-volume setting. The every-other-weekend structure and absence of holiday rotation provide predictability in your schedule.
