Vascular Tech - IR Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts
• On-call requirements include 1 weekday night every 4th rotation (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Minimum 3 years experience in interventional special procedures (IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting)
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS upon hire
• BLS certification required upon hire
• ACLS certification preferred upon hire
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate patient care
• Perform wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Set up equipment and position patients for procedures
• Work in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Collaborate with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
• Demonstrate sterile technique and prepare necessary supplies
• Complete patient education and post-procedural care instructions
• Maintain departmental records and compliance with regulations
• Must be able to function independently after orientation and competency demonstration
• Understanding of anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection required
