About this role

Cobb Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our vascular and interventional procedures team. You will work four 10-hour day shifts per week with on-call requirements including one weekday night every fourth rotation (Friday through Sunday). This is a 91-day travel assignment starting April 24, 2026, at $2,960 per week.

Role Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment and position patients for interventional radiology, vascular hybrid, and neuro-interventional procedures
  • Assist radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists during a wide variety of technical procedures
  • Demonstrate proper sterile technique and prepare necessary supplies for each case
  • Perform technical duties requiring independent judgment after orientation and competency demonstration
  • Provide safe, age-appropriate patient care and complete patient education
  • Deliver post-procedural care instructions and maintain departmental records
  • Ensure compliance with departmental regulations and radiation protection protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in interventional special procedures (IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid settings)
  • Current certification in one of the following: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS
  • BLS certification required upon hire
  • Working knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection
  • Ability to be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
  • Ability to function independently after orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS certification upon hire
