RN Medicine - Pediatrics - FS

Job Details:

• Work night shifts with 3/12's schedule
• Provide nursing care to pediatric patients from newborn to 18 years old
• Must have up to 1 year of level 1 trauma experience required
• Care for patients on pediatric medical unit with wide range of conditions including respiratory and GI cases
• Experience with trachs and home ventilators required
• Assume responsibility for assigned group of patients
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments
• Assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Obtain and monitor physiological data and intervene when necessary
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products
• Interact with families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Required certifications: Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact license, BLS (American Heart Association), PALS (American Heart Association)
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from accredited program required
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills required
