Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM on rotating days
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule may vary based on department needs and can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
• May be required to work major holidays and pick up one additional shift during schedule period
• May be required to float to meet organizational needs up to competency level
• Provide high quality Nuclear Medicine data to interpreting physicians in accordance with departmental procedures and State and Federal regulations
• Perform Nuclear Medicine services for patients across all age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Operate state-of-the-art scintillation cameras, computers, and other support equipment to produce high quality Nuclear Medicine studies
• Communicate with physicians and nursing personnel regarding patient scheduling, patient preps, and appropriate exam orders
• Perform minor clerical duties as needed
• Work in an extremely busy and fast-paced environment
• 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
• Required licenses: ARRT or RCIS, Nevada State License
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA)
