Description
<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 8-hour mid shifts in a 4x8 schedule with no weekends and holiday rotation<br>• 32 guaranteed hours per week over a 13-week contract<br>• Holiday rotation requirements include Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day<br>• Manage up to 6 patients on a 22-bed medical surgical unit<br>• Must be able to read telemetry and have experience with cardiac drips and identifying heart rhythms<br>• Required to work in charge role with additional training provided<br>• Float to other like units at Waukesha Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and other facilities as needed<br>• No on-call or call-back requirements<br>• 2+ years of medical surgical experience required with short-term acute care hospital background<br>• At least one travel contract completed preferred<br>• Recent Epic charting experience within past 12 months required<br>• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS, Wisconsin RN license<br>• Any color scrubs acceptable<br>• Must be hardworking, resilient, and manage change well with strong social skills<br>• Clinical interview required with availability Monday through Friday</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center providing a full range of inpatient and outpatient services to the community.
