About this role
St Lukes Meridian Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning August 10, 2026, offering three 12-hour evening shifts per week at $2,561 weekly.
Role Overview
You will provide direct patient care in a high-acuity emergency setting, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5 and treating an average of 170 patients daily. You will independently read and interpret SpaceLabs cardiac monitors, administer critical drips including Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepi, Nitro, Versed, and Precedex, and manage common diagnoses such as stroke, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, and ESI level I patients across both pediatric and adult populations.
Shift Details
You will work 12-hour shifts with varying start times including 7:30 AM–8:00 PM, 10:00 AM–10:30 PM, 11:30 AM–12:00 AM, 1:30 PM–2:00 AM, 3:30 PM–4:00 AM, and 7:30 PM–8:00 AM. Scheduling is based on unit need with no guaranteed block schedule. AM shifts may be mixed with other AM shifts, and PM shifts may be mixed with other PM shifts; you will never be scheduled for a late shift followed by an early shift. You must work a minimum of 4 Saturdays and Sundays within a 6-week period (2 weekends total) and holiday shifts as needed. There is no on-call or standby requirement. You may occasionally float to sister emergency room locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum 2.5 years of emergency department experience from a larger urban hospital setting
- BLS, ACLS, TNCC, PALS, and ENPC certifications
- Trauma experience preferred

You will use the EPIC charting system. Scrubs must be clean and professional in appearance; no specific color is required.
