Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Work 12.5-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week with 36 weekend hours required
• Call requirements include 2 hours for oncoming shift
• Minimum 3+ years of experience required
• Float requirements include NICU/PICU, acute care pediatrics, emergency department, and adult acute and critical care
• Required certifications: RRT and BLS
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and NRP for NICU
• Must have tertiary teaching hospital experience and level 1 trauma experience
• NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred
• Patient ratios: acute care 1:25, critical care 1:8
• Work with advanced equipment including Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30, V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• Electronic medical records system: EPIC
• Work as part of a respiratory therapy team of 14-16 RRTs covering entire facility
• Scrubs provided or flexible dress code policy
• Must demonstrate flexibility, team player mentality, and excellent communication skills
