OR RN Job in Margate, FL

You will work as a Registered Nurse in a 7-bed operating room on the first floor of HCA Florida Northwest Hospital's main building. This is a 91-day travel assignment with a start date of June 29, 2026, scheduled for three 12-hour day shifts per week from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate for all service lines, including joint replacement, orthopedic, spine, urology, vascular, ENT, podiatry, thoracic, and plastic surgery procedures
• Provide observation, assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care
• Maintain proficient charting using the Meditech documentation system
• Demonstrate multi-tasking, critical thinking, and excellent bedside manner
• Manage on-call requirements: 1–2 shifts during the week and 1 weekend shift per 4-week period, with possible rotating weekends

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years acute OR experience
• Orthopedic, spine, and joint replacement experience required
• Knee and hip replacement experience required
• Experience with robotics, spine, and vascular equipment
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• PALS and CNOR certifications preferred

Environment:

Rooms are staffed with 1 tech and 1 RN or 2 RNs with 1:1 patient ratios. OR scrubs are provided by the unit.

Compensation:

Weekly pay is $2,102.40.
