ICU RN Job in Wichita, KS

Join Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS as a travel RN in our Intensive Care Unit. This 91-day assignment runs from July 20, 2026, with three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, paying $2,102.40 weekly.

You will work in the Coronary Care Unit with a patient ratio of 1:2. Your responsibilities include monitoring and caring for critically ill patients, performing advanced procedures, and operating specialized equipment. Common duties include:

• Administering medication drips and managing central lines
• Supporting balloon pump therapy and CRRT (continuous renal replacement therapy)
• Assisting with heart catheterizations and cardioversion procedures
• Managing hypothermia equipment and protocols
• Documenting patient care in the Meditech electronic medical record system

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIH (National Institutes of Health) stroke certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with Meditech systems
• Previous travel assignments in large facility ICU units
