Respiratory Therapist Job in Lafayette, IN

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment at Franciscan Health Lafayette in Lafayette, Indiana. You will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM on a 36-hour weekly schedule, rotating every other weekend (Friday through Sunday). There are no on-call requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Manage and operate ventilators including PB and Drager V500 models, Aerogen nebulizers, V60 BiPAP, HHFNC, Hamilton C transport ventilators, Oscillators, Jet ventilators, and NITRIC systems
• Assist with intubations and bedside bronchoscopies
• Manage BiPAPs, ventilators, and Heated High Flow units
• Chart proficiently using EPIC EMR
• Work across multiple units including ICU, Med Surg, ER, and Level III NICU
• Handle heavy patient loads with strong time management and independent work skills in high acuity settings

Requirements:

• Registered Respiratory Therapy credentials (required)
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications
• Acute care experience in Med Surg, ER, and ICU
• Level III NICU skills strongly preferred; candidates without NICU experience may not be considered
• Ability to work independently with self-motivation in high acuity settings
• Dress code: pewter gray scrubs
