<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Neurology</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 5:30 AM to 6:00 PM<br>• 36 guaranteed hours per week<br>• Every other weekend schedule required<br>• Holiday rotation based on unit needs<br>• Float throughout facility within skillset and to all facilities within 60-mile radius<br>• No on-call or call back requirements<br>• Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of absence<br>• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license (or compact), AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS<br>• Minimum 3+ years RN experience and 1 travel contract required<br>• ICU/IMC (intermediate care) experience strongly preferred<br>• EPIC charting experience within the last year strongly preferred<br>• Must have previous travel experience<br>• Associate degree or certificate required<br>• Scrub colors: Black<br>• Care for neurology patients including stroke patients and post-operative patients from brain/neck/spine surgeries<br>• Manage trauma patients and traumatic brain injury (TBI) cases<br>• Work with 1:4 patient ratios in a 16-bed unit<br>• Work alongside 4-5 RNs and 2 patient care technicians per shift<br>• Must be within 50 miles of facility location<br>• 8-hour unbillable orientation required</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive medical center featuring a specialized 16-bed neurology unit.
