<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg Tele</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for a 13-week contract<br>• Every other weekend requirement with availability for every other holiday if needed<br>• Patient ratios range from 1:5 to 1:7<br>• Must have worked in acute care within the past 6 months<br>• Required to float within skillset as needed<br>• EPIC charting experience required<br>• Scrub color requirements: any combination of navy blue and white<br>• MS/Tele unit assignment will be determined at time of offer<br>• Required certifications: BLS and NIHSS (must include valid NIHSS in submission)<br>• Active New York Single State RN license required (NY is not compact state)<br>• Minimum 1 year of experience required<br>• Candidates within 75 miles of facility are not accepted<br>• Must be skilled in cardiac monitoring, emergency response, dysrhythmia interpretation and management<br>• Experience required with IV therapy/phlebotomy, peripheral line care and management<br>• Must be competent with nasal cannula, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management<br>• Knowledge of isolation precautions required<br>• Rapid Response/Code team activation experience necessary<br>• Pre-start modules required (up to 5 billable hours, total may reach 10 hours)</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This healthcare facility is a 528-bed acute care teaching hospital that holds Magnet recognition and is certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
