ICU RN Job in Birmingham, AL

You will work as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. This is a 13-week travel assignment offering you the opportunity to expand your critical care experience while supporting a dynamic healthcare team.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced intensive care environment
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Manage patient monitoring, medication administration, and clinical documentation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes
• Operate within Cerner electronic medical record system

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of Alabama
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Permanent address must be 50 or more miles from the facility
• Alternating weekend schedule required
