Telemetry RN Job in Des Moines, IA

MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 6-month travel assignment on the Telemetry unit. You will join a dedicated nursing team caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and comprehensive med-surg support.

Assignment Details

• Location: Des Moines, IA (with potential float to West Des Moines location)
• Duration: 182 days, beginning July 27, 2026
• Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required based on unit needs

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,213.64

Role Responsibilities

You will provide skilled nursing care to telemetry patients, monitor cardiac rhythms, respond to patient changes, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team. Your duties include patient assessment, medication administration, IV therapy, and documentation in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards of care.

Requirements

• Valid RN license (Iowa or compact state)
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Willingness to float to alternate facility location as needed

This assignment offers the opportunity to build your travel nursing experience while providing essential care to a diverse patient population. You will work within an established med-surg telemetry team and gain exposure to the facility's systems and protocols during your 6-month tenure.
